Product Information

New release by Heyday favourites exedra featuring Darrall Knight and Jeremy Gluck. Very happy to have this as a 'physical' release at last. Now presented with full artwork!

More 'ambient' than previous efforts, but as always - an interesting listen. I still recommend the 'Elemental' album for anyone who wishes to dive deeper.

Recorded, arranged, and mixed 2016/17 at Hartswood studio London by Darrall Knight.

'For this four track EP, the swirling lushness and KrautRock influences which rippled through “Elemental” have been parked elsewhere. Instead, we get simple – almost naïve – piano playing which provides the perfect support for Gluck’s lyrics. The layers of the previous album have been peeled back, leaving the vocal upfront. Knight was the star of “Elemental”, but “Entropic” is Gluck’s time to shine and every line of all four tunes on the EP has been carefully considered and polished to a high sheen. If you’re looking for narratives and moon-June-spoon stuff, you need to look elsewhere. It’s beautiful, evocative, non-linear stuff. “You can take your own hand and lead yourself out and never go back” intones Gluck on “Light”. It’s comforting to have a positive message in 2017. - Gigsoup review
