Limited 50th Anniversary Record Store Day reissue of a now very rare Topic EP released in 1964 showcasing the beautiful voice of Anne Briggs.

50 years ago, Topic released an EP of songs by someone whose name became synonymous with the great folk revival of the 1960s, Anne Briggs. Her performances on the four songs on 'The Hazards of Love' became the benchmark for folk singers around the world, and Anne's influence was widely acknowledged by many other great musicians, among them Bert Jansch, Jimmy Page, The Watersons and Sandy Denny.

Original copies of the EP, when they turn up, now fetch sums in the hundreds of pounds, so this limited reissue to coincide with Record Store Day 2014 will be welcomed by collectors as well as fans of beautiful music, beautifully sung.

This version of the EP replicates the original's glossy flipback sleeve and a leaflet of notes written by A.L.Lloyd, but with the additional bonus of an illustrated inner.
